Leaving the trail for delicious lunch, or early dinner, is one of my favorite things to do! An amazing part of the trail is the accesses to great dining. If you head west from the Clark Road trail acces, you will be brought to Siesta Key. Captain Curt’s world famous seafood restaurant is one street south! Sit inside the restaurant or outside at the tiki bar, just make sure to try the tastiest clam chowder around. Pick out your favorite beer to go with it, and you got a meal going!
After lunch, rent beach chairs and an umbrella from Siesta Key Bike & Kayak, then go hangout at the best beach in the country. This is just one of my many favorite things to do on the Legacy Trail!
